About RXNIN LIFE
RXNIN LIFE (pronounced Ronin Life) is an independent artist label, production company and lifestyle brand, dedicated to using art and entrepreneurship as a means to affect radical social change. Inspired by the independence and often self taught nature of Japan’s class of masterless samurai known as ronin, we put freedom of expression at the forefront of our mission.
Founded in 2015 in Kintsugi “Uncle Iso” Kelley-Chung’s freshman dorm room at the University of Maryland, College Park, RXNIN has gone on to host several concerts and events throughout the DMV and beyond, including performing at Dickinson University opening for Shelly (F.K.A. DRAM) and Saba. Between Uncle Iso and Co-owner and Financial Director, Andrew “Jazzy” Jasiura, they have traveled the world documenting migration patterns and protest movements from Tijuana to Hong Kong. In 2020, the duo documented the Black Lives Matter Movement in Washington, D.C. and produced the only feature length docuseries covering the uprisings titled “Free The People.”
